PS5: PlayStation 5 Review

PS5, PlayStation 5

By surprise… Sony has introduced its new console, the PlayStation 5 (PS5), and the truth is that it’s quite different from everything we’ve seen… pretty? Ugly? The design is going to bring tail. Some will think it’s a leap forward, a design of the future, and others will say that as they’re going to put that in the living room of their house. The debate is served over the next few months.

You can now see it on the Sony website, and you’ll have to wait until the end of 2020 to get it in your hands. They have not indicated the exact price or release date.

As you can see from the picture, they’ve changed everything. It now has a curved appearance with an all-white exterior and a black central inner area. All accessories, including controls, are white.

The retro design will please many… and others are going to hate him to death.

The truth is that we like the design of the accessories more than that of the console itself.

And they seem to want us to put it vertically, but it can probably be put horizontal as well.

And what do you think of the blue LED lights that can be seen through the interior area? The game console looks like it’s taken out of the film Tron. In addition, in the front area you can see the USB A and C ports.

And there are two versions of the PS5. One allows you to use games in physical format as always, and the other does not (all content will have to be downloaded using PS Now, does not have a slot for discs).

  • They haven’t said the price of the console yet, or the exact release date, but it wouldn’t hurt if the PlayStation 5 Digital version was a little cheaper.

«Experience super-fast loads with a high-speed solid-state drive (SSD), deeper immersion with haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D audio, plus a new generation of amazing PlayStation games.”

Accessories? In the image you can see the new DualSense controller (which offers haptic feedback, dynamic adaptive triggers and an integrated microphone), a remote control, an HD camera, the Pulse 3D headphones and the dual charging station.

They have also posted a video featuring DualSense controllers:

And a few more. You can subscribe to their website to receive first-hand information and receive the ads they make. Let’s hope they don’t scare us with the price and that the digital version has some small discount. The accessories will be expensive… Sure…

Anyway… We’ll have to wait until Christmas to get it in our hands and see if Sony’s dramatic design change is successful. You’re already changing the décor of the room to match this console. Get ready.
